May 21st Weekend ...- 5-29-11 |
This past Friday night, PMP Chassis were found running up front at the Ocean Speedway in California and at the Deming Speedway in Washington! At Ocean Speedway Koen Shaw won the heat race in his PMP but a 6 invert would invert the whole field. This put Tanner Burke on the outside front row and he would get the jump to take off for a good size lead. Unfortunately a blown motor would put his run for win #2 to a halt. This put points leader Thomas Bray at the point with two to go and he would hold on for the win! With Koen Shaw close behind and Stan Silva finishing in third! Deming Speedway had Derrick Moss post fast time in the Restricted class with heat wins going to Nate Vaughn and Jacob Brown, both familiar drivers to victory lane. Dereck Torkelson, Kelly Mauck, and Larry Jenne won their heats in a PMP Chassis in the 600 open class. Main event went to Phil Shemenauer in his #21 PMP Chassis for his first win in 2011! Saturday night at Lemoore had Cole Macedo, Michael Wagner, Ryan Delisle, and Austin Warmerdam all winning their heats in the Jr Sprint class. But in the feature it was Ryan Delisle picking up his "Magic" Win #7 on the season! Giovanni Scelzi set fast time in the Restricted class while also winning his heat race, but it was the vetran driver Bryce Volpa running the bottom to perfection on a top groove track to pick up the win, with Buddy Shepherd in second and Dahne Lynn McKay in third! Non Wing had Ryan Worth setting fast time with Frankie Guerrini second by .016 seconds! Ryan Worth won his heat as well as Koen Shaw. In the Main it was Koen Shaw taking his sixt win on the season with Billy Lawless in second. Other noteable wins include Greg Gillespie for win #3 at the Cora Speedway in his 2011 PMP Chassis. Paul Day won for the first time in a PMP after switching this season becoming victorious at the Clinton County Speedway!
